FAMI Less is more

FAMI Although much of the actual responsibility for ensuring a cellular graft’s success will shift to the patient after the FAMI procedure is complete, this does not actually equate additional work on their part. Indeed, Dr. Amar’s second rule for any post-FAMI patient is simply, “Less is More”.

When it comes to caring for a patient’s face and body after the procedure is complete, they should remember that the real work is being completed beneath the surface of the skin and their role should focus on providing the healthiest setting for that to occur. To make this happen, a patient should focus on less, not more, of everything; less touching, less soap, less movement, less sun, and less stress from start to finish.

Each patient should use their best judgment when if comes to determining how much less is necessary to be comfortable, but if they have any questions or concerns, they should be addressed to Dr. Amar and his staff, who are always on hand to help.
This may seem counterintuitive, but it is important to remember that the less movement and contact a FAMI face encounters, the better and faster its cellular graft will take.

To ensure the best possible results, this “Less is More” approach should begin immediately after the FAMI is complete and continue according to a rigorous schedule of cleaning and care.
